Miltiadis Aslanoglou is working as associated expert at E3-Modelling in the field of power market simulation, regulation of energy markets, energy market analysis, tariffs development, energy balances, and renewable energy systems. Miltiadis has over 20 years’ professional experience in energy economic analysis, business consulting and regulation of energy markets, in his capacity as Deputy Chairman of the Regulatory Authority of Energy from 2010 to 2015; he has participated in several projects of consulting energy market economics in various countries (including European, North Africa, Ukraine, etc.) and has worked as an energy trader and market analyst. He has also served as the Head of the Energy Markets and Competition Department of the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE) from 2002 to 2010. Before joining the Greek Energy Regulator, he was working for major electricity and natural gas traders in London. He holds an MSc degree in Economics and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MSc degree in Environmental Technology, Energy Policy and Economics from the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, London, UK.
