Dr Panagiotis Fragkos is a member of the global energy, economy and climate team of E3-Modelling with over 9 years of experiences in the field of macroeconomics, applied econometrics, stochastic energy modelling. Throughout his career, he has been tackling he fields of quantitative analysis of the global “energy-economy-environment” domain and strategic planning of climate change mitigation and adaptation. Panagiotis has also experience in developing and operating large-scale mathematical models with a particular focus on the simulation of international energy markets and the formulation of energy prices for internationally traded commodities (gas, oil and coal), the economics of fuel production, transport and distribution and fuel taxation policies; he has developed the PRIMES-Gas markets model. Panagiotis has graduated from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens and holds a PhD in “Stochastic modelling of the global energy system and applications”.
