Energy supply analyst and modeller

Stavroula has over five years of experience as an energy system analyst and modeller. She is a member of the energy modelling team of E3-Modelling; in this context she focuses on model developments and is responsible for the quantification of scenarios related to the impact assessment of energy and climate policies. She has participated in a large number of exercises related to the assessment of the 2030 EU climate and energy targets, the assessment of national energy and climate plans (NECPs) of EU Member States, the assistance to European national governments regarding policy making and the implications of decarbonisation pathways. She has experience in the construction of analytical databases containing energy data and indicators. Previously, she worked as a researcher in the Graduate School of Computer Science, Saarland University, Germany. Stavroula is also a PhD candidate focusing on the modelling of energy storage in energy systems, and synthetic fuel production via Power-to-X conversion technologies. She holds a MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a MSc in Statistics and Modelling, Department of Mathematics, Aristotle University.
